Course Description: What EVERY Dentists Needs to Know to Survive and Thrive in 2018. This fast-paced, value packed seminar is designed to help  you navigate the business decisions dentists face at every stage of their career. Figure out the road map for buying, selling expanding, adding an associate or starting your own practice from scratch!

Course Objectives:

  • Understanding dental market forces that are affecting BOTH buyers and sellers

  • How to protect yourself legally during an acquisition process

  • Managing the roller coaster ride of multi-practice ownership

  • How to maximize clinical efficiency in the age of increasing dental insurance challenges

Featured Speakers: 

Paul Goodman, DMD:  Dr. Goodman is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Goodman has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years and works with his brother in two locations in Mercer County, NJ. In addition to private practice, he teaches dental residents at Albert Einstein Medical Center as well as lectures to dentists on placing and restoring dental implants. Dr. Goodman is also a part of the United Dental Brokers of America team. He has purchased three dental practices and is looking forward to sharing his personal experience with the transition process. He works well with retiring dentists in managing the expectations of their patients and team members during the transition process.

Jason Lipscomb, DDS: Dr. Jason Lipscomb is a native of Richmond, VA and loves his home town. A 2002 graduate of the VCU School of Dentistry, Dr. Lipscomb, has become well-known for his popular dental podcast Dental Hacks.

Steven Mautner, DDS: Dr. Steven Mautner studied dentistry at the New York University. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida
Dental Association and the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association. He has been operating his private practice for over 20 years.

Robert H. Montgomery, III, Esquire: Mr. Montgomery is the founder of Robert H. Montgomery, III, Esquire, P.C., a leading boutique law firm focusing on counseling dentists and dental services organizations in a full range of business and legal matters affecting dental practices. Mr. Montgomery has been serving the needs of dentists, dental practices and dental service organizations for over 20 years. Mr. Montgomery has worked on hundreds of dental deals, ranging from practice start-ups to complex practice acquisitions involving multistate practice locations. Mr. Montgomery practices primarily out of the firm’s Philadelphia office.

The Digital Dentist: Harnessing the Power of Technology in Your Practice 

Course Description: It’s an exciting time to be a dentist!  Modern techniques and materials give us more options than ever before to restore our patient’s smiles.  The problem is that there is so much to learn that many suffer from “paralysis by analysis”.  The goal of this course is to demystify complex cases and give practical solutions on how to approach everything from complete dentures to esthetic full arch rehabilitations.  And if it can work in Dr. Glenn’s rural, insurance based practice, it can work in yours!

Course Objectives:

  • Understand the value of digital treatment planning in complex implant and restorative cases

  • Learn cost effective and efficient techniques for creating surgical guides for dental implants

  • Understand the value of in office 3d printing and its various uses

Featured Speaker:

N. Cory Glenn, DDS:  Dr. N. Cory Glenn graduated from University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry.  Following graduation, he went on to complete the Lutheran Medical Center’s advanced education in general dentistry residency at the University of Tennessee Memphis branch.  He is a graduate of the Georgia Maxi Course in Implant Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society’s Comprehensive Ortho Program, and is an Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is the current Chairman of Continuing Education for both the Tennessee AGD and the Middle Tennessee Dental Study Club and serves as on the teaching faculty for CADRAY Dental Implant Continuum. 

Dr. Glenn operates a private practice in Winchester, Tennessee where he performs all disciplines of dentistry with a particular focus on utilizing technology and innovative techniques to provide treatment in an efficient and cost-effective manner while still maintaining the highest level of quality.  He has spoken on numerous occasions on the topics of CAD/CAM, cone beam technology, dental implants, dental photography, digital smile design, complete dentures, and complex full mouth rehabilitation.
